Hello, welcome to my site. After two decades of using and programming computers, I decided my next site would be crazy simple. Welcome to the simplicity. Back-story: I grew up on a 4 MHz machine where I would ultimately go to college and get two degrees. I really like computers and math. Honestly, I am not a big fan of the computer industry. I grew up on Microsoft products and would ultimately decide (a little late thou) that their software is just a giant pile of shit (best left as an exercise to the reader). Now, I use Ubuntu and have no desire to go back. Go Linux! Over these many years, I've made a bunch of cool stuff and most of it was academically awesome. When I transitioned from the academic mind-set to a "computer professional" mind-set (for various reasons), I realized the power and need of open source software. Go Open Source Software! The need is driven by the fact that every business is basically unique at some level due to the resources the business has and the aims of the business; open source enables business to effectively unify their common work and then sell their services with higher quality. At least, this is how to explain it to non-technology driven people. Go Open Source Evangelism! In this, I write open source software. My passion in life is to innovate and solve problems, and open source enables that passion to its fullest. The areas of computing that interest me most are programming language design, artificial intelligence, and data persistence. My business focus is building systems that shorten project life-cycles, make developers happy, and enable businesses to grow. This is me, and that's what I do.
